About Attorney Wilson

Judge Joseph A. Wilson II is a native of  Lake City, SC.   He is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University.  He has also engaged in further study at Emory University and Duke University. He received his JD from Yale Law School and has been practicing law for over 50 years. He was the first African American Chief Deputy Attorney General in the State of South Carolina.  He has served as a Circuit Court Judge, Family Court  Judge, Assistant United States Attorney, Assistant Solicitor, Richland County Councilman, and on the Board of Trustee's for Claflin University  and Columbia College. 

He is also a proud  elder in the United Methodist Church.

He is the father of four children and two of them are also attorneys.
